NBA Updates

Team USA faces Angola tomorrow at 8am ET in a game where they hope to continue their warpath to the Gold.  In the meantime, here are some updates from around the League (Some of it’s old, bear with me):

Bucks sign Francisco Elson.  Look for an update to the Team Preview: Milwaukee Bucks at some point.

Josh Smith re-signs with the Hawks.  Thank goodness.  Without him, it would basically be the Joe Johnson show down in Atlanta.  He good, but not that good.

Clippers added Jason Williams.  An update to the Heat’s Team Preview will follow soon (clearly this will impact them negatively.  Not that Jason Williams is an amazing player, but he was a decent point guard on a team that needs as many decent players that it can get).

Finally, Ron Artest is going to Houston!!!  Yao Ming hopes that Artest’s fan beating ways are behind him, a valid concern, but as he was pretty well behaved while he was a King, I think we can assume he will be on his best behavior.  The Rockets are gonna be great next year, but I’ll save the in depth analysis for the Team Preview.
